Mayer's 'Born And Raised' keeps top spot as Regina Spektor lands at #3.

 these days, but the guitar strummer has plenty to celebrate when it comes to his chart prowess. Mayer's <a href="/news/articles/1685535/john-mayer-born-and-raised-review.jhtml"><I>Born And Raised</I></a>
, will hold on to the #1 spot on the <I>Billboard</I> 200 next week despite losing 70 percent of its first-week mojo. According to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan, Mayer's fifth solo disc sold an additional 65,000 copies, giving him a two-week total of more than 285,000.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="John Mayer - "Shadow Days"" id="vid:762832" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Russian piano pounder <B>Regina Spektor</B> will land at #3 with her sixth effort, <I>What We Saw From The Cheap Seats</I>, which sold nearly 42,000 copies, while buzz band <B>Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros</B> came in a bit behind at #5 with <I>Here</I> (35,000). The other debut in the top 10 was from Icelandic mood rockers <B>Sigur Rós</B>, whose <I>Valtari</I> landed at #7 (26,000).</P><P>The rest of the top 10: <B>Adele</B> shows no sign of quitting, as <I>21</I> once again locked down the #2 spot on sales of 58,000 as the increasingly rare 10 million sales figure looms on the near horizon. Boy band <B>One Direction</B> got a slight boost, as <I>Up All Night</I> slid up one spot to #4 (41,000), while <B>Carrie Underwood</B> fell three spots with <I>Blown Away</I> (#6, 32,000), <I>NOW 42</I> inched up a spot (#8, 26,000), country star <B>Luke Bryan</B> moved up six spots to get back into the top 10 with <I>Tailgates & Tanlines</I> (#9, 24,000) and <B>Lionel Richie</B> rounded things out with <I>Tuskegee</I> (#10, 22,000).</P><P>Georgia rap trio <a href="/news/articles/1684999/travis-porter-debut-album.jhtml"><B>Travis Porter</B></a>
 debuted at #16 with their first major-label studio album, <I>From Day 1</I> (14,000) and, after debuting at #4, the latest from guitar god <B>Slash</B>, <I>Apocalyptic Love</I>, took a major tumble in week two to #19 (14,000). "Home" single</a> might be taking off on iTunes, but the first collection of songs from "American Idol" winner <a href="/news/articles/1686599/phillip-phillips-american-idol-surgery.jhtml"><B>Phillip Phillips</B></a>
 tanked in its second week on the charts, plunging by 52 percent and 14 spots to #25 on sales of 12,000). Just ahead was former "American Idol" runner-up <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lambert_adam_american_idol_/artist.jhtml"><B>Adam Lambert</B></a>, whose second major-label album, <I>Trespassing</I>, slipped nearly 50 percent in its third week, falling another 12 spots to #24 (12,000).</P><P>It was also a major comedown for <B>Gotye</B> pal <B>Kimbra</B> whose vows dropped 31 spots to #45 in its second week (8,000).</P><P>Next week, look for the reunion album from the <B>Beach Boys</B>, as well as discs from <B>Alan Jackson</B>, rapper <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/big_krit/artist.jhtml"><B>Big K.R.I.T.</B></a>, <B>Curren$y</B> and the "Rock of Ages" soundtrack. </p>
